The Fluence SPYDR 2i is an extremely powerful Full Spectrum LED grow light that was developed for use in the High PPFD Cultivation. The High PPFD growing method uses light intensities that would be harmful to the crop if no additional amount of CO2 had been added to the air. A boosted CO2 amount of 800 to 1400 PPM, or a percentage of 0.08 to 0.14% (normally 400 PPM, 0.04%), allows a plant to safely and effectively handle that high light intensity. to convert into carbohydrates and energy. The useful effect for the grower is that this considerably speeds up the life cycle of his plants and also increases the yield by up to 20%. In other words: with High PPFD Cultivation you get a larger harvest in a shorter time.
The SPYDR 2i is a lamp where, so to speak, you can easily burn your fingers. This lamp is not recommended for growers who have little experience with the use of extra CO2 in their grow room. The extreme amount of light that the 2i produces is extremely harmful to your plants if the CO2 level in your grow room is not continuously measured and kept at the right level. The SPYDR 2i naturally also produces a quantity of UV light that is relatively much larger than with other LED grow lights. When working under the SPYDR 2i, it is therefore extra important that you cover your skin with clothing and protect your eyes with the right means.
The Fluence SPYDR 2i is equipped with the PhysioSpec Indoor spectrum developed by Fluence itself. This spectrum is tailor-made for indoor growing and intended for the entire life cycle of your plants. So also seedlings, cuttings and clones feel comfortable in the light of this lamp. The PhysioSpec Indoor spectrum has a value of 85 on the CRI (Color Rendering Index) scale, which indicates that the radiated light is extremely suitable for working and research conditions where natural, vibrant colors and good contrast are important. The Fluence SPYDR 2i does not have a built-in dimmer. This is only available separately. You can connect up to 50 SPYDRs 2 to one dimmer.
The Fluence SPYDR 2i is a professional LED grow light that uses its energy very efficiently. High PPDF cultivation with CO2 requires knowledge of photosynthesis and the effect of CO2 on your plants. It is important that you know that with too little CO2 in the air, the bright light cannot be converted into energy and carbohydrates, which can damage your plants.
