This technology is microprocessor controlled and operates at a higher frequency (Hertz) than the standard magnetic ballast, which means more light is sent to your plants. It is also more efficient which means more output per watt of power consumption. The LUMii Dimmable Ballast is dimmable and also has a boost setting for each lamp size so you can control the light output.

The LUMii Dimmable ballasts have built-in safety features that protect the unit circuit if a short circuit is detected. When the ballast detects an abnormal input or output voltage due to an old or damaged bulb, it will not attempt to ignite the bulb.
The LUMii Dimmable ballast is covered with resin on the inside, thus protecting against dust ingress into the components and ensuring even heat distribution, meaning there is no fan.

The New LUMii MAXii is a simple and easy-to-use Dutch barn-style reflector. It is a polished lightweight reflector with a hammer stroke profile, which gives an efficient and even distribution of light. Unlike others on the market, the LUMii MAXii contains a unique lamp holder that is adjustable and suitable for all E40 lamp types. All earth requirements are included in the lamp holder itself; This safety function means that there are no additional components.
The LUMii MAXii comes as a complete HID reflector set, supplied with hanging hooks.
A unique feature of this reflector is that with the addition of the LUMii HID to CFL Converter kit the reflector set is suitable for a CFL lamp. The kit contains a short extra cable to convert the delivered IEC into a conventional power supply, as well as an innovative support device to support the extra weight of a CFL lamp.
CFL or HPS? You choose!
With the LUMii MAXii system and the CFL Converter Kit you can use a cool CFL lamp for vegetative growth. And thus offers the possibility to switch to flowering in an HPS lamp by simply removing the plug from the inverter plug and putting the plug in the LUMii ballast; all without removing your reflector.
